Comparison of Female Body Image Between Models and Non-Models Women

Abstract Women have been dissatisfied with their own appearance. This study aimed to evaluate whether the media can influence changes in body image regarding weight concern, satisfaction and dysfunctional investment of one’s appearance female runway models non-models. survey was composed Brazilian women, who were linked an agency, Data collection carried out using Google Forms, sending links invite eligible subjects. In total, 102 247 non-models participated survey. Sample Characterization Questionnaire, height reports for Body Mass Index, Sociocultural Attitudes Toward Appearance Questionnaire-3 (SATAQ-3), Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire - Scales (MBRSQ /AS) Schemas Inventory Revised (ASI-R) used.
